VacServe supplies P/T (Pressure and Temperature) Plugs designed to provide convenient access to pressurised systems for testing, measurement and servicing applications.

The unique dual-core seal design incorporates a membrane coupler between two separate sealing cores. This allows the lower core to seal the system before the test probe has been completely removed through the upper core, helping to provide safe and efficient system access.

The connecting membrane also maintains accurate alignment between the two cores, making it easier to insert testing probes.

Versatile Applications

  • P/T Plugs provide more than simply pressure and temperature measurement and can be used across a variety of system testing and servicing applications.
  • Inject or Extract Substances: Substances can be introduced into or extracted from operating lines through the plug.
  • Bleed Air or Gases: The plugs can provide convenient access for bleeding trapped air or gases from a system.
  • Use with Extensions: The same testing equipment can be used with plugs fitted with extensions, with the core remaining accessible at the top.
  • Measure Flow Rates: By positioning one plug upstream and another downstream, pressure differential can be measured and used to assist in determining system flow rate.

Dedicated test kits are available to support the P/T Plug range and provide the equipment required for pressure and temperature testing.

The existing range includes four test-kit options, supplied in sturdy custom carrying cases for convenient transportation and use on site. A portable testing solution can reduce the need for multiple permanently installed measuring instruments.
